Residents of a West London town which has been earmarked for a string of new high rise developments have called the idea "bizarre".

Feltham, which is currently considered to be "low density", may soon see towers across six sites reaching 14 storeys, with the details revealed in a recently released draft masterplan.

Hounslow Council released the updated Feltham Masterplan in May. However, the plans received a mixed response from people on the streets of Feltham.

Julie Fay, a long-term Feltham resident told the LDRS that the town needs more investment in facilities before any new towers are built. She said: "There's no point if we haven't got more schools or infrastructure.
