The City of Florence will temporarily interrupt water service on Tuesday, June 10, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. for customers on Bentree Lane, Wildwood Drive, Holly Circle, Lockhaven Drive, Woodland Drive and the 2200-2400 blocks of West Palmetto Street.

This planned disruption is necessary to connect a new water main along Holly Circle as part of improvements related to the South Carolina Department of Transportation's road-widening project.

Once service is restored, the water lines will be flushed, during which time customers may temporarily notice some discoloration of water. Customers may also notice trapped air in their plumbing, which will be released as water is initially used.
