The Edmonton Oilers won Game 1 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final in overtime on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, they could not get a repeat performance in Game 2 against the Florida Panthers. Corey Perry tied the game with 18 seconds remaining in regulation. But it was Panthers star Brad Marchand who scored the game winner.
Perry is no stranger to the Stanley Cup Final. He won the Cup early in his career with the Anaheim Ducks. He is currently skating in his fifth Stanley Cup Final in the last six seasons. The only Final he missed is the 2023 matchup between the Panthers and the Vegas Golden Knights.
