WARREN, Ohio - A black bear was captured on a security camera on Wednesday night on a porch on Warren's northeast side, marking the third bear sighting this week in Trumbull County.

The 5 second video, shared with 21 News by the homeowner, shows the bear placing a paw on the first step of the porch and sniffing a potted flower before moving off into the darkness. The homeowner says it happened just after 3:30 a.m.

Earlier Wednesday, Howland police posted on Facebook about a large black bear seen walking through backyards on Avalon Drive. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources was notified of that sighting.

On Tuesday, another black bear was recorded on video in Cortland along McCleary Jacoby Road. It is not known if the same bear is responsible for all three sightings.
