The Glacier Range Riders had the tying run at the plate, but their rally fell a little short and they dropped their fourth-straight game to the Oakland Ballers 5-2 at Glacier Bank Park in Pioneer League baseball Friday night.

With two outs in the ninth, an error extended the game before Efrain Manzo singled to bring Gavin Tonkel to the plate with a chance to tie. Tonkel grounded out at first base to end the game, as the Range Riders were held to just five hits total and didn’t score in the last seven innings.
