PRICHARD, Ala. (WKRG) — The Vigor football program was one of the state's best in Class 5A. The Wolves hired new head coach Renardo Jackson in the offseason and they are looking to continue their momentum into 2025. Jackson spent the last three seasons as LeFlore's head coach, but he's very familiar with the Vigor program. He served as an assistant there for nearly 15 years.

Vigor closed the 2024 season with a 12-2 record and a trip to the Class 5A state semifinals. Jackson has been pleased with the team's work ethic this spring.
