MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The B.C. Rain Red Raiders were hard at work during spring practice as they gear up for the season. Head coach Lawrence Yelding enters his seventh season at the helm. B.C. Rain won three region games last year and finished just one spot out of the playoffs.

The Raiders were a young squad last season, so several players return to the field in 2025. Coach Yelding has been pleased with the progress so far this offseason.

"We're just excited that we get the opportunity to come back out here and get going again," Yelding said. The last few years we've been building, trying to get to the to the top of this Class 5A Region which is a really, really tough region down here in south Alabama.
