The French Open women's singles are set for Saturday , and it's going to be a top seeded affair.

No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka defeated No. 5 Iga Swiatek in three sets in Thursday morning's semifinal. Swiatek had won four of the previous five French Open singles titles, but Sabalenka pulled away easily in the third set after two tight, back-and-forth sets.

No. 2 Coco Gauff had less trouble with her semifinal opponent, Lois Boisson, defeating the tournament darling, an unseeded player from France making her major tournament debut.

Gauff and Sabalenka have played 10 times, with each woman winning five of the matches. Sabalenka got the better of her American foe
