SARALAND, Ala. (WKRG) — The Saraland football team has grown into a powerhouse program over the last decade. The Spartans are working hard this offseason to get back atop the mountain in Class 6A. Head coach Jeff Kelly enters his 15th season with the program.

The Spartans have made three consecutive trips to the state title game. After winning the school's first blue map in 2022, Saraland has fallen just short of the title in the last two years. That has served as extra motivation for the team during offseason workouts. Coach Kelly knows each fall brings a new challenge.
