ELBERTA, Ala. (WKRG) — Longtime coach Joel Williams has coached at every level of football from high schools to the professional ranks. Williams is using his 45 years of experience to lead the Elberta football program. His coaching resume includes 17 years at the collegiate level as an offensive coordinator at Delta State, Samford, Mississippi College, among others.
He also has more than 25 years in high schools serving as both a head coach and assistant coach at a host of local programs including T.R. Miller, UMS-Wright, Foley, Pace (FL) and Milton (FL). Williams says the Warriors have a lot of potential. WKRG caught up with the new head coach after his first team meeting.
