CALEXICO — On Thursday night, a total of 625 students from Calexico High School participated in their Commencement Ceremony at Ward Field, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey. Principal John Moreno kicked off the event by welcoming students, parents, family members, staff, Calexico Unified School District officials, and members of the community.

The ceremony began with the traditional “Pomp and Circumstance” played through the local sound system as the graduates, known as the Bulldogs, entered the field. Associated Student Body President Aaliyah Hargrave addressed the audience, followed by a Moment of Silence led by Andrew S. Gomez and the Presentation of Colors conducted by the NJROTC National Color Guard.
