The staff of the Family Maternity Center at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula have written a letter to the hospital's management expressing "deep disappointment and concern regarding the abrupt closure" of the center.
St. Pat's announced this week that the center would be closing permanently in October. On Wednesday, five doctors and two nurse practitioners wrote an open letter to St. Pat's CEO William Calhoun saying they were not included in discussions about the closure, despite Calhoun's claim that he had collaborated with internal stakeholders.
On Thursday, the entire staff of the FMC sent a letter to media outlets.
