GOSHEN – Work is beginning on a multi-faceted project to construct a roundabout, replace several culverts and resurface State Routes 17A and 94 in the towns of Warwick and Goshen and villages of Warwick, Florida and Goshen.

The $30 million project is expected to enhance traffic flow, prevent flooding while increasing resiliency, and enhance pedestrian facilities to meet the needs of the area.

Fourteen miles of roadway will be resurfaced along Routes 94/17A from the New Jersey state line to the Town of Goshen and Route 94 to Durland Road.

The project will also construct a roundabout with decorative street lighting along Route 94 at County Route 1A and Reservoir Road in the Town of Warwick to realign the intersection.
