In Rosepine , a small billboard sits between the corner of U.S. 171 and High School Avenue, a narrow road that leads to Rosepine High .
Usually the sign is used to alert local folks of an upcoming event, such as a football or baseball game. Recently, it was utilized to congratulate this year's graduating class.
But on Monday night, while watching LSU baseball come back from a 5-1 deficit against Little Rock in the Baton Rouge regional final, Glenn Granger had a new idea for the sign.
"We were listening to Ben McDonald and Ben mentions Rosepine. How if you blink your eyes or you cough or sneeze, you'll pass right through it," Granger said. "The other night Ben mentioned something, 'I don't even think they have a red light.' And I said, 'Whoa!' "
