FAIRMONT – Although some of the city’s sidewalks have led to dangerous accidents, residents overall have mixed views when it comes to their condition or even if they should be repaired.
“Well, actually, I’m unusual because mine is pretty clear,” Craig Ewing said. “They did some work on the pipes inside the street and had to tear a section up, but they redid that. But from my property line up, is where the really bad stuff is. For me, the worst effect is when you deal with shoveling snow in the wintertime.
