It comes as the Labour Government aims to tackle illegal immigration networks in the UK since assuming office last summer under its ‘Plan for Change.’

Immigration Enforcement units have put a particular emphasis on those working illegally with supermarkets, construction sites and nail bars being among those targeted.

Since July 5 of last year to May 31, 113 visits resulted in 148 arrests marking a 48% uptick compared to the previous year and is part of a wider effort fight organised immigration crime.

The Home Office said those facilitating illegal employment often underpay and overwork migrants while exposing them to neglected working conditions.
