CARMEL – Putnam County’s semi-annual Passport Day takes place today at the County Office Building in downtown Carmel with County Clerk Michael Bartolotti and his staff on hand to provide passport information to local residents as well as accept passport applications. The event is again being held by appointment only.
Bartolotti reminded the public that all United States citizens must present a valid passport when entering or re-entering the U.S. by air. “U.S. citizens entering or re-entering from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must also present a passport or other travel document approved by the U.S. government.”
