ST. LOUIS — Businesses make tornado donation: Home repair companies Hoffman Brothers and Ferguson Roofing said Friday they were donating a combined $100,000 to the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis for tornado relief.

The Urban League has been distributing food and other supplies at its 4108 N. Kingshighway Boulevard headquarters following the May 16 tornado that devastated parts of St. Louis.

The organization says it will host another distribution event between noon and 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Kingshighway location.

Co-sponsors include Schnucks, Emerson, Nike, Bayer, Operation Food Search, McDonalds, Edward Jones and more.
