GRAND FORKS — A man was arrested in East Grand Forks after police responded to calls about a reckless driver in Grand Forks.

According to a release from the Grand Forks Police Department, Joshua Ostlund, 18, of East Grand Forks, was arrested after fleeing the scene of an accident in Grand Forks.

The release said the GFPD received multiple calls about a reckless driver in the area of 2200 Eighth Avenue North. Soon after, the vehicle was involved in a crash nearby. The vehicle left the scene but was located on North Washington Street shortly thereafter. The driver fled on foot from that location and, with help from the East Grand Forks Police Department, he was later apprehended in East Grand Forks.
