St. Matthews is celebrating 75 years as an incorporated city on Saturday, June 7.

The city is holding a celebration to commemorate the event. It's free and open to the public and takes place at Brown Park from noon to 10 p.m.

The event will include live music, cooking demonstrations, food trucks and various activities aimed for kids. Here are a few ways to take part in the festivities:

This, That & The Other : The St. Matthews-based rock band will play at the start of Saturday's event, from noon to 1:15 p.m. This, That & The Other travels as a wedding band and also emcees events. The band will play at the event's main stage.
