First Christian Church, 720 N. Sixth Street in Longview, will celebrate its 150th anniversary in the worship service at 10:30 a.m. June 8. An additional feature of that service will be the celebration of Pentecost Sunday, the birthday of Christianity, when believers were given the gift of God’s Holy Spirit, as recorded in Acts Chapter 2 in the New Testament.
