Upland goes with Volunteer Medical Service Corps for Emergency Medical Services.
At the May 29 meeting, borough council approved a contract with Volunteer Emergency Medical Services to station EMS in the borough.
This partnership is set to enhance public safety and provide immediate medical assistance to residents, ensuring a quicker response time in emergencies and comes at no cost to the borough officials said in a press release.
“We are thrilled to welcome VMSC to Upland,” said Christine Peterson, council president. “This partnership not only strengthens our emergency services but also demonstrates our commitment to the health and well-being of our residents. Having EMS stationed in our borough means faster response times and better care when it matters most.”
