FENTON — Nothing has come easy this season for the Clayton High girls' soccer squad.

But after Friday's 1-0 penalty-kick victory over Pleasant Hill in the Class 2 semifinals at Soccer Park, the Greyhounds are right where they want to be — with a shot at their second state title in three seasons.

Clayton (13-10-1) will take on St. Vincent (21-3) for the championship at 4 p.m. Saturday. In Friday's early semifinal, St. Vincent of Perryville scored the last three goals in a 6-3 victory over Logan-Rogersville.
