Brad Marchand’s outstanding playoff legacy continued to grow on Friday night in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Marchand potted the game-winner in double overtime to help the Florida Panthers knot up the series at one game apiece with the Edmonton Oilers. It’s a playoff tradition at this point , but the biggest pest in the game once again silenced his home country with a beautiful breakaway goal.

Marchand didn’t just show up in overtime, either, scoring a shorthanded goal in regulation that came exactly 14 years after his shorthanded goal against the Vancouver Canucks in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final. The Athletic’s Chris Johnston shared that with the overtime tally , the four-time All-Star now has more goals in the final than any other active player
