Iowa City Liberty girls soccer player Mia Eastman and Solon baseball player Hayden Detra were voted by readers as the Press-Citizen's Athletes of the Week for May 26- June 1.

Eastman was voted girls Athlete of the Week with 37% of the vote.

The junior midfielder helped Liberty earn a 4-0 win over Davenport North in the Class 3A regional semifinals on May 28. Eastman scored her first goal of the season against the Wildcats.

Detra was voted boys Athlete of the Week with 40% of the vote.

The junior Spartan notched two hits during Solon baseball’s 5-1 win over Mount Vernon on May 28. The third baseman also drove in two runs at the plate.

The Press-Citizen reached out to Solon baseball for a photo of Hayden Detra but didn't receive one by production deadline.
