A North Haven man has been ordered to serve eight years in prison for sexually assaulting a juvenile boy repeatedly over a year.

Ronald Iannucci, Jr., 53, was sentenced Wednesday by Judge Thomas V. O’Keefe, Jr. to 40 years in prison, suspended after eight years served, and 20 years of probation, according to a release from the Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice .

Iannucci pleaded guilty on April 1 in Superior Court in Meriden to four counts of second-degree sexual assault and three counts of risk of injury to a minor, court records show.

An investigation revealed that Iannucci repeatedly sexually abused a boy when he was 14 and 15 years old, according to court records.
