WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Police are looking for a driver after they struck a pedestrian and fled the scene in West Hartford on early Saturday morning.
At around 2:04 a.m. officers were deployed to the area of South Main Street after a 911 call of an unresponsive individual that was in the roadway, the police department said.
When crews arrived on scene, they found evidence of a motor vehicle crash, but the vehicle had fled the scene.
Officials said the pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
No arrests have been made.
This incident remains under investigation at this time.
