GLENN COUNTY, Calif. - The Glenn County Office of Education is transitioning the Senior Nutrition Program to the Glenn Community Action Department.
Officials say the move aims to ensure continuous service for seniors in the community.
According to the Glenn County Office of Education, the shift will not disrupt meal services. Both agencies are committed to maintaining the program's reliability.
“We understand how vital the Senior Nutrition Program is to our community,” said Glenn County Superintendent Ryan Bentz. “There are no plans to discontinue meal services. Our shared priority is to continue delivering dependable, quality nutrition to the seniors who count on it every day.”
