FARGO — When the Fargo Force’s Jimmy Mullin landed in Fargo after being hired as the team’s newest member of the coaching staff, he couldn’t help but get a little emotional.
Mullin was announced as an associate head coach of the team on May 28. He rejoins the Fargo organization after playing with the Force during the 2010-11 season.
“Coming back, it was something that tugged at my heart strings a little bit,” Mullin said. “This is a place that my wife and my family want to be for as long as they’ll keep me.”
Throughout his introductory press conference Friday morning at Scheels Arena, Mullin kept reiterating a key reason for wanting to come back to Fargo — the people.
