JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Three packages of contraband substances were confiscated at Donaldson Correctional Facility after a security officer was accused of behaving suspiciously on Thursday, June 5.
Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) responded to reports that Allied Universal Officer Aniki Jones was behaving suspiciously.
Jones was detained after trying to avoid a shakedown, and according to ADOC, admitted to possessing marijuana.
ADOC Law Enforcement Services Division (LESD) then conducted interviews and collected three packages which contained 230 grams of marijuana, 172 grams of methamphetamine and an unknown substance.
Jones was taken to the Jefferson County Jail where she has been charged for promoting prison contraband, first-degree possession of marijuana and t
