MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI - Camille Jourden-Mark has called Michigan’s Adventure home since she was just 5 years old, when it was formerly Deer Park Funland.
Now, at 59, her lifetime career at Michigan’s largest amusement park is coming to an end. Her last day is set for Sunday, June 8.
“My everyday routine was being in the park,” she told MLive during an interview this week. “It’s hard for this chapter to come to an end - I love what we do here, working someplace where our whole purpose is to make people happy and create memories.”
The 250-acre destination spot at 4750 Whitehall Road, north of Muskegon, offers families over 60 rides in the amusement park portion and more attractions in the water park portion.
