Several Orangeburg County School District (OCSD) leaders were honored last month at the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA) Awards Dinner, held at the Columbia Marriott.

Several award categories were presented, recognizing the contributions and achievements of school administrators.

SCASA is the professional organization that supports educational leaders across South Carolina through advocacy, professional development, and leadership growth.

OCSD Superintendent Dr. Shawn D. Foster was honored as the 2026 SCASA Superintendent of the Year. During the evening, Foster also received a scholarship in his name, presented by Moseley Architects, to be awarded to a student of his choosing.
