SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Our quiet weekend continues into the evening with clear skies for the evening hours. Dew points stay in the mid-70s for a normal humid feel on the Suncoast. Dew points stay there for the week ahead, too.

We’re back to minimal afternoon storms, mainly east of I-75, for several days. By the middle of next week rain chances pick up, but still scattered storms.

Hurricane Season has had a quiet first week for the Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf. There are still no tropical cyclones expected for for the next 7 days. By late June the only favored area for storm development is the far western Gulf and Caribbean waters.
