Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry has new incentive to get to 2,000 yards rushing this season, and it comes in the form of being in a movie with his favorite actor.
Henry, 31, was a guest on “The Dan Patrick Show” Tuesday to discuss his two-year contract extension with the Ravens. The conversation turned to a sweatshirt Patrick was wearing, which was given to him by actor and comedian Adam Sandler.
“Can you do me a favor? If you ever see him (Sandler) again, tell him I’m a really big fan and would really love to meet him one day,” Henry said.
Patrick did one better and told Henry that he would get the running back in a movie with Sandler if he surpassed 2,000 yards rushing in 2025.
“All right, cool,” Henry said. “Say no more.”
