Rain continues to overspread the region this morning from west to east, some of it quite heavy. Saturday isn't a total washout though, with more consistent dry time for the afternoon. While cooler than the taste of summer from a few days ago, temperatures stay elevated through this forecast.

The ground is already saturated from yesterday's heavy rainfall as well as our wet month of May. A Flood Watch has been issued for many areas south of the Mohawk Valley. With heavy rain expected to persist for 1-2 hours in many areas this morning, urban, small stream, and flash flooding are all possible in the Watch area.
