SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
Pleasant mornings and warm afternoons are in the forecast for this weekend. Delta breezes will increase in the late afternoon and evening each day, dropping the temperatures.
Thundershowers are possible this afternoon in the Sierra, but primarily around Mono County. There is a better chance to see thundershowers near Lake Tahoe Sunday afternoon and evening. When camping or hiking, be sure to have a battery powered NOAA weather radio to alert you of incoming severe weather and seek shelter before it arrives.
The work week remain relatively quiet with above normal temperatures, sunshine, and afternoon breezes.
A low pressure system will begin to move into the region Friday, brining a few more clouds, cooler temperatures, and stronger Delta breezes.
