SCORE is celebrating 60 years of service to the Greater Richmond area business community. Chartered in 1965, the Richmond Chapter of SCORE has counseled thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners to start and grow their respective business
Today, SCORE has a nationwide network of more than 10,000 volunteers serving all 50 U.S. states and territories, guiding entrepreneurs on their path to success. Since 1964, more than 17 million entrepreneurs have received support from SCORE, a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
SCORE initially was an acronym for the Service Corps of Retired Executives. Today, SCORE volunteers are both retired and actively working men and women whose only motivation is to give back to the business community.
