AURORA, N.Y. (WIVB) – JP Nicely Memorial Park in the Town of Aurora is an 83 acre park with more than two miles of trails. The name honors J.P. Nicely, a late town councilman who served 20 years on the board.
Most of the trails are through the woods with additional access to Cazenovia Creek. There’s a nice waterfall, but it’s often dry in the summer. If that’s the case, you can still enjoy a creek walk. • Address: 525 W Falls Rd, West Falls, NY 14170 • Difficulty: Medium • Learn more: Visit the JP Nicely website and dig into the Western New York Hiking Challenge.
