Callen-Lorde Community Health Center on Tuesday announced the expansion of services at its Brooklyn facility by offering same-day appointments to increase access to timely, affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals.

“The LGBTQ+ community is going through a lot right now and it's really important that our community have access to safe and welcoming healthcare which is why it's so exciting that we are now able to offer same-day appointments,” said Paula Ellison, director of Callen-Lorde Brooklyn.

Located at 40 Flatbush Avenue Extension, the site provides comprehensive care including primary care, sexual health services, HIV screening and treatment, transgender healthcare, women’s health and adolescent services.
