SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Community School Corporation is launching its Summer Discovery Kitchen program that will help feed school-aged children across the city this summer.

"The program will offer both breakfast and lunch from June 9 through Aug. 1, ensuring that young community members have access to nutritious meals during the summer months," an SBCSC spokesperson said.

The initiative will provide free meals for children and teens ages 18 and under and is made possible through a partnership with Chartwells K12.

What: Free breakfast and lunch

Participating Locations and Meal Times:

1. Riley High School

1902 Fellows St., Door 20

Breakfast: 8 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.

Lunch: 12:15 p.m.
