A woman is dead following a two-vehicle collision overnight in east Tulsa.

Jessamin Jimenez, 19, was pronounced dead at an area hospital after the wreck near 12600 E. 31st St., the Tulsa Police Department reported in a news release.

Officers arrived at the scene around 12:45 a.m. Saturday and found a crash involving a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Honda Accord, TPD reported. Jimenez was believed to be the driver of the Honda Accord that was found facing west in the eastbound lanes, officer said.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation, TPD said Saturday morning.
