GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Saturday, several West Michigan communities are celebrating Pride Month with parades and festivities.

MUSKEGON

At 10 a.m., Hackley Park in Muskegon will hold Muskegon Pride's LGBTQIA2S+ friendly festival. It will celebrate the diverse and welcoming community while highlighting LGBTQIA2S+-owned businesses, a release said.

The event will kick off with a free parade at 7th Street and Western Avenue. It will head down Western Avenue to 3rd Street.

"Muskegon Pride Festival and Pride Parade celebrate diversity and love with a unifying spirit. Our city is pleased and privileged to host these events, which contribute to the beautiful mosaic that is our magnificent Muskegon," Mayor Ken Johnson said in a release.
