AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Communities around the Texas Panhandle and High Plains are set to make their voices heard on June 7 during the general election runoffs for local offices.

The runoff elections follow the May 3 general election day for the Texas Panhandle and High Plains, during which communities voted in support of candidates for local governing bodies, school district boards, special elections, bond elections and local propositions.

Two races, the City of Amarillo Place 3 Councilmember race and the City of Pampa Mayor race, continued into runoffs.
