The Homicide Squad reports the arrest of a North New Hyde Park man for a Fatal Vehicle Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Saturday, June 6, 2025 at 10:30 p.m. in Lake Success. According to Detectives, a 61-year-old female pedestrian while attempting to cross Lakeville Road was struck by a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado traveling southbound in the vicinity of 430 Lakeville Road. The pedestrian was transported by an ambulance to a local hospital where she was pronounced by a hospital Physician. A thorough investigation determined that the driver was intoxicated. Defendant Rajvir Singh Bharaj, 32, was arrested near the scene of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
