Idon’t know about you, but the dizzying pace of our nation’s business emanating from the White House has created for me an attention deficit that makes it difficult to focus on what might be of greatest concern. The ability to read, process, and understand the countless policy pronouncements ranging from immigration, Greenland and DOGE to Ukraine, the Constitution, or the rule of law makes the final lap of the Indy 500 seem more like a Sunday drive in the country.

It’s hard to know what’s next, but I’ll focus today on America’s economy, specifically the national debt. And, any discussion of economics would include tariffs and the dollar.
