The Spartanburg County Coroner has identified the motorcyclist as 23-year-old David Holguin.

Friday, officers from the Spartanburg Police Department responded to a vehicle collision on W. O. Ezell Blvd. involving a motorcycle. We're told the motorcyclist died as a result of his injuries.
Police say the collision involved a black motorcycle. First responders arrived around 9:15pm and begin treating the driver for his injuries, but he died at the scene. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
The motorcyclist was traveling east on W.O. Ezell Blvd., towards downtown. Witnesses say the motorcycle was attempting switch lanes when he lost control of the vehicle. The motorcycle went off the left side of the roadway, hitting a tree in the median.
