CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Three dogs are dead and an adult was displaced following a residential structure fire at a mobile home located in the 2600 block of Village Ave Friday evening.

The fire occurred at 7:23 p.m. in the Deep Creek area. First responders arrived on scene within five minutes of the call and reported the mobile home fully engulfed in fire.

The owner was not home at the time, but the dogs were and died.
