ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County Sheriff John Mina will hold a news conference Saturday morning to discuss a deputy-involved shooting.

The shooting occurred earlier that morning, the sheriff’s office said in a statement, though no further details were shared at the time of this report.

The event at the sheriff’s office’s central complex along West Colonial Drive is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
