A man has been found dead in a town centre, police have confirmed.
Officers taped off part of East Hill in Dartford shortly before 6pm yesterday (Friday) after they were called to concerns for a person’s welfare.
They were called to the area between Great Queen Street and York Road, and a white forensics tent was erected on the pavement.
Police have now confirmed a man in his 40s was found dead at the scene.
The force says the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being completed for the coroner.
His next of kin have been informed.
