Q. I have a 2017 Honda Ridgeline with about 66,000 miles. The model I have does not have four-wheel drive. I know of the issue with the transmission, that at certain speeds the truck will vibrate. Is there a software update for this? I know I should have checked out car reports before I purchased the truck. I had the transmission fluid replaced. Is the issue with the torque converter?

A. There are a couple of possibilities. When scanning the car’s computer system, if there is a code P0741, the torque converter is defective and needs to be replaced. The torque converter is covered by a warranty extension of 10 years or 150,000 miles.
